Santa Barbara-based Dream Foundation has been gifted the main area of the private plaza planned in the reconstruction of the historic Hotel Californian.<\/p>\n

Approximately 1,100 of the Dream Plaza\u2019s stones are available to be dedicated with an elegant name engraving for different levels of tax-deductible contribution.<\/p>\n

One lead supporter has a rare opportunity to name the Dream Plaza itself\u2026because a good cause deserves a good name.<\/p>\n

The Dream Plaza is an oasis in the center of a bustling district, connecting the Wharf Waterfront to Downtown and serving as the gateway to Santa Barbara\u2019s expanding Funk Zone and Urban Wine Trail.<\/p>\n

Santa Barbara currently welcomes 6.1 million visitors on an annual basis, with approximately 80,000 of them coming from cruise ships. Given its prime location on lower State Street, the Dream Plaza is uniquely poised for a large majority of annual tourists, as well as the local population, to stop and enjoy.<\/p>\n

Locals and visitors alike will start here to explore some of the city\u2019s most vibrant attractions.<\/p>\n

DREAM FRONT CENTERPIECE, 48\u201d x 36\u201d BRONZE PLAQUE<\/strong><\/p>\n

One lead supporter has the opportunity to name the entire Dream Plaza. The new name will be beautifully forged in bronze and placed at the center of the State Street entrance to the square. No other stones will be dedicated by another contributor within the 10′ x 7′ area encasing the plaque.<\/p>\n

Dream Toy Program<\/strong> volunteers hand select donated toys to send to children who are coping with the impending loss of a parent. Nearly 30 percent of Dream recipients have young children in the home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
